it takes a full 2:00 min for a fill from empty to full. It will run a pinner or micro pinner fine but nothing larger.
cord. the one nice thing about it is it does not draw much amperage which is good that way you can run it off of a 100ft.
i think this a great item for a finish installer such as myself. it works great for me when i do pick up work because it is so light and quiet.
a lot of compressors will not turn over at this distance because of power loss. however if you are looking for a compressor that you can use constantly this is not it.
And a full minute for a recharge.
It is well made and operates confidently. Poosh poosh and the air is gonnnne.
I should have gone with 4-5 gallon tank at least. I can not clean 1 pc with it.
I love the compressor. I use it mainly as blow gun to clean my computer parts.
But then they will be heavy and bulky not usable in my rooms. It is a good compressor I can tell.
Alas, it is small.
These old legs appreciate its' lightweight (20 lbs).It is outstanding for small trim & cabinet jobs. If you run your guns below the compressor turn on pressure (95 psi) the last nail / brad sets the same as the first.
The PC1010 is also very quite. Only takes 30 to 35 seconds to come back up to full cutoff pressure (125 psi).
Bought it because it was lightweight but still powerful enough for small trim and cabinet jobs. It can drive twenty 18 gauge brads (PC brad gun) or eight 15 gauge finish nails (N60FN finish nail gun) before the compressor cycles on.
With some other compressors you need hearing protection unless you put the compressor in another room At less than one third the weight of my dual tank hotdog compressor the PC1010 is easy to carry up several flights of stairs.
If you are doing rough framing or roofing all day long this is not the compressor for you.
some worse than others.The compressor is quiet but its not of much use other than very light tools like a small airbrush. I purchased localy and exchanged the units and the new ones also had the same leak. Even the smallest pin nailer will only get one or two shots.This is pretty much a toy. I purchased two of these and they have a manufacture defect in that they leak air. The leak seem to be in the control housing.
I do artwork that requires both types of comressors.Anyway, I hoped to find a replacement that was powerful enough to shoot brads, but quiet enough to airbrush with and not go deaf. The noise level is pretty good, but not as silent as my old airbrush compressor.
It is just a little too loud, but no problem for day time applications.This is far more portable than either of my old compressors so that's a plus, and the price was right: $117 shipped. For instance, I can't paint at night inside my house without creating just a little too much noise for those sleeping.
I had my shop broken into a few months ago had had two compressors stolen: a 2 HP 4 gallon that I used for nail guns, and a 1/8th HP specialty airbrush comressor with a tank. It shot brads well, but does take a little while to "charge up" and "recycle".
Overall this is a great value. I was quite upset at losing both of these items, and didn't look forward to replacing both as the airbrush compressor was quite pricey.
This is a pretty good compromise.
